This is a 4D game, however you are only able to see a 3D 'slice'. Explore the possibilities that a scenario in 4 spatial dimensions provides you. The objective in each of the test phases is to find all the spinning green 'cores' and then go to the 'spinning checkerboard donut'

4D Game and Editor Controls

Basic Game Controls:

  • Camera Movement: Use the mouse.
  • Player Movement: Arrow keys or WASD.
  • Jump: Spacebar.
  • Zoom In/Out: Hold Shift and scroll the mouse wheel.
  • Change 4D View Slice:
    • Press 1, 2, or 3 to switch between orthogonal views (xyz, xyw, or zyw).
    • Use the scroll wheel to rotate the current view slice.
  • Toggle Slice without Y Axis: J and K keys (xwz).

Game Objective:

In the game, your objective is to:

  1. Locate all the spinning green ‘cores’. (First levels doesn't have any)
  2. Navigate to the ‘spinning checkerboard donut’.

Editor Controls (Inspired by Blender):

  • Camera Movement: Right-click and W, A, S, D, or arrow keys.
  • Orbit Camera: Right-click.
  • Zoom In/Out: Hold Shift and scroll the mouse wheel.
  • Pan Camera: Shift + Left-click.
  • Change View Planes: Press 1, 2, and 3.
  • Rotate View Plane: Use the mouse wheel.
  • Rotate Planes with Y Axis: J and K.

Object Interaction in Editor:

  • Select Object: Left-click.
  • Select Multiple Objects: Shift + Left-click.
  • Select All Objects: Press A.
  • Move Selection: Press G.
  • Confirm Action: Enter or Left-click.
  • Cancel Action: Esc or Right-click.
  • Move Along Axis: X, Y, Z, or W.
  • Move Along All But One Axis: Shift + X, Y, Z, or W.
  • Specify Movement Amount: Type a number while moving.
  • Scale Selection: Press S.
  • Rotate Selection: Press R.
  • Rotate in Specific Plane: Use XY, XZ, YZ, XW, ZW, YW.
  • Rotate on Opposite Plane: Hold Shift while rotating.
  • Specify Rotation Angle: Type a number while rotating.
  • Enter Mesh Edit Mode: Press Tab.
  • Enter UV Edit Mode: Press U + Tab.
  • Enter Normal Edit Mode: Press N + Tab.
  • Enter Texture Edit Mode: Press T + Tab.
